Common questions
What is Säker Vatten, and are you authorised?
Säker Vatten is the Swedish industry rulebook for water and drainage installations, written to prevent water damage. Authorisation requires the firm to employ a certified fitter full time, and only an authorised firm may sign the certificate. We are an electrical contractor and do not hold it. That is why the plumbing is carried out by an authorised plumbing firm, which issues the certificate in its own name. You can check the firm on sakervatten.se before the work starts.
Does my insurer require anything in particular?
Most insurers want the work done to professional standards and documented. Keep the documentation you get from us. If in doubt, ask your insurer before the work starts.
Can you handle plumbing, electrics and tiling in the bathroom?
Yes. The bathroom renovation page sets out the order in which we do a whole bathroom, and who does what.
What should I do if there is a leak?
Turn off the main stopcock, mop up what you can and call us. Take photos of the damage for your insurer. We put leaks ahead of planned jobs.
Need help with plumbing?
Call or write. We get back to you the same day and book a visit if the job needs one.
