How the price is set
A bathroom is always priced after a visit. Size, the condition of the pipes and floor, and your choice of tiles and fittings decide it. You get a fixed price for the work and a materials budget to stay within.
The ROT deduction covers the labour cost, which is usually about half of the total in a bathroom renovation.
- Hourly rate
- SEK 795SEK/h incl. VAT
- Hourly rate after ROT
- SEK 55730% of the labour cost
- Defined jobs
- Fixed priceIn writing after a visit
A bathroom is priced after a visit, once the people doing the work are booked. If we find something unexpected during the job, you get a written price for the extra before we go on.

Common questions
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Three to five weeks for a typical bathroom. The waterproofing needs drying time between stages, and rushing it means risking water damage.
Can I stay at home during the renovation?
Yes, most people do. We cover the hall floor, and you are without that bathroom for the whole period. With a second bathroom it is easier.
What is a wet room certificate and why do I need it?
A quality document showing that the waterproofing was done to industry rules, with products that belong together. Insurers ask for it after water damage, and it adds value when you sell.
Can I choose the tiles myself?
Yes. We give you a materials budget and tips on suppliers. You choose; we collect or have it delivered.
What happens if you find damp or poor pipes?
We stop, show you, and give you a written price for the extra before going on.
Do I get ROT on the whole bathroom?
On the labour cost, not on materials. In a bathroom the labour is often about half the total, so the deduction makes a difference. How much you get depends on how much of your ROT allowance you have already used this year. The calculator on the home page works it out for your own figures.
