EV charger
An EV charger has to be installed by a registered electrical contractor. We look at your consumer unit and the cable route before we give you a price, so you know what it costs and that the house can handle the charging. The green technology deduction comes straight off the invoice.
What is included
- Site visit and assessment of the consumer unit and cable route
- EV charger with load balancing
- Cable installation and mounting
- New circuit and a type B RCD where needed
- Commissioning and a walk-through with you
- Claiming the green technology deduction from the Swedish Tax Agency
How the price is set
The green technology deduction is not ROT. It gives 48.5% off both materials and labour for an EV charger, and comes straight off the invoice. The installation must be done by a registered electrical contractor.
The price depends on the distance from the consumer unit to the parking space and on whether the unit needs adding to.
- Hourly rate
- SEK 795SEK/h incl. VAT
- Green deduction
- 48.5%of labour and materials
- Defined jobs
- Fixed priceIn writing after a visit
We give you a price once we have seen the consumer unit and the cable route. The green technology deduction applies up to SEK 50,000 per person per year and requires you to own the home.
Work out your own deductionWhich charger?
We install the most common chargers on the market. The choice depends mostly on your consumer unit: the power has to suit it, and the charger needs load balancing.
Single-phase, 3.7 kW
Enough for most people who charge overnight. Suits smaller consumer units.
Three-phase, 11 kW
The standard for a house. Fully charges most cars in 4–6 hours.
Load balancing
Lowers the charging power automatically when the cooker or heat pump is running, so the main fuse holds.
What you get
Everything is handed to you when we go through the finished job together.
- Certificate of completed electrical work
- Updated circuit chart
- Invoice with the green technology deduction already taken off
- Manual and login for the charger's app
Common questions
What is the green technology deduction and how much do I get?
A tax reduction for green technology: 48.5% off both materials and labour for an EV charger, up to SEK 50,000 per person per year. We take it straight off the invoice, just like ROT.
Can I install an EV charger myself?
No. Installing a charger is electrical installation work and may only be done by a registered electrical contractor. It is also a condition for the green technology deduction.
Can my consumer unit handle an EV charger?
Usually, with load balancing. We measure and assess it during the visit. If the main fuse needs upgrading, we help you notify the grid operator.
Can a housing cooperative order one?
Yes, but the green technology deduction only applies to private individuals who own their home. For housing cooperatives and joint property associations we quote without the deduction and help with the paperwork for the board.
Need help with an EV charger?
Call or write. We get back to you the same day and book a visit if the job needs one.
